WORK EXPERIENCE CAN EARN YOU CREDITS

Did you know that Mt. Lukens offers a Work Experience program?  If you have a job, you can attend our evening program on Tuesday nights and earn up to 20 elective credits!!  In addition, you will build your resume and make cash.  For more information, call the Main Office at Mount Lukens.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT MT. LUKENS HS

• Mount Lukens is an option high school and continuously enrolls students ages 15 and up.
• Students come to Mt. Lukens for a variety of reasons.
• Mt. Lukens provides a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Students are able to work at his/her own pace. 
• Grading is based on Mastery Learning and Grading Philosophy.
• Students demonstrate mastery of learning targets in order to earn 5 credits for a course.
• Classes are from 8:30 AM - 1:15 PM Mondays through Fridays.
• Mt. Lukens is WASC accredited.
• There is also an Intervention and Enrichment Period Tuesdays - Thursdays on campus.
